Welcome to my home! I tried my best to use the tools that we learned from last week’s Thursday class. However, I didn’t really try to experiment too much with other tools, I just stuck to what I knew. In the future, I plan to use more of the tools provided on SketchUp for a smoother experience. That being said, because the design of my house is pretty simple (aside from the triangular roof), it didn’t take long for me to figure out at least the general shapes of the model. The biggest frustration I found was definitely some of the color options. The colors on the walls of this model are not the same as the real thing, but since the textures were similar, I decided to use them. I remember someone in class mentioning they used assets from the internet, so I’ll look into that for future assignments!
